Everyone's favourite power-goth girl Hannah Marshall has teamed up with hipster Jean-Pierre Braganza to open a pop-up store in London, behind Marble Arch, just in time for Christmas shopping! Please note that the store which used to be on New Quebec Street has now moved to Seymour Place.
You can check out some looks from Hannah and Jean-Pierre's SS10 collections below. I am interested in particular by Hannah's reintroduction of colour to her clothes, famous in London for being the Queen of all things black. Is this a trend for next season? Both ghoulish designers Rick Owens and Gareth Pugh have also been seen bringing softer greys back into style. Perhaps this means the London fashionista obsession with black is coming to an end? I would be so happy to go to a party and not be the only person wearing colourful clothes.... It is Spring/Summer after all!
My favourites? The criss-cross necked black dress and final men's look by Jean-Pierre, and the strapless black dress with what looks like large airbags stuck onto the hips by Hannah. (Haha maybe I secretly love black too...)
